"Trusting God"
The question is, "Can we trust God?" 
Jeremiah 17:7
"But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him."
Proverbs 3:5 
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding."
Psalm 118:8  
"It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in humans."
Psalm 46:10  
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
Psalm 28:7  
"The Lord is my strength & my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, & with my song I give thanks to him."
Matthew 6:25  
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Psalm 9:10 
"And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.'"
Psalm 112:7  
"He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord."
Psalm 37:5 
"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act." 
As you can see, there are a lot of Scriptures that deal w/ trusting God. Think about this, "How cool would it have been to live in Jesus' day?" Can you imagine witnessing all the miracles or listening to His teaching? 

That would have been amazing but think about how blessed we are to live today. We have the privilege of reading & learning history. We get to see just how faithful God was. 
Is that important? I think so because it helps me to boldly face the future. Hey, I know how the story ends. I can face the future because GOD is already there!
