"The Sin of Ingratitude"
Luke 17:11-19

Jesus healed ten lepers, yet only one returned to give thanks. This story confronts us with an uncomfortable truth: ingratitude is a sin we commit far too often. We've all been spiritual lepers, separated from God by our sin. Jesus delivered us, cleansed us, and made us whole. Yet how often do we rush through our days without pausing to thank Him?

The nine who didn't return weren't necessarily ungrateful—they were simply distracted by their blessing. They focused on the priests, the regulations, their restored lives. But the one who returned understood something profound: the Giver is greater than the gift.

Today, stop and genuinely thank Jesus for your salvation. Don't let familiarity breed ingratitude. When did you last say, "Thank You, Jesus, for saving me"? Make gratitude a daily discipline, not an annual holiday.
